2. How We Use Information
This information is used to review and manage applications, communicate with applicants, manage the directory, and maintain approved maker profiles.
The Handmade Collective is a directory, not a marketplace. We do not process shoppers’ payments or orders. If a shopper chooses to purchase a product, they are directed to the maker’s own shop or selling platform, where that maker handles the transaction.
3. Information Shown Publicly
For approved makers, shop names, country or region, business descriptions, product photos, and shop or social links may appear publicly in the directory. Private contact details are not planned to be displayed unless a maker specifically asks for that.
4. Service Providers
The site is built and hosted on Wix. Wix and other relevant service providers may process and store information in order to operate the website, forms, and related features. Tally is used for application and listing-update forms, and PayPal is used for payments. Tally and PayPal may collect and process visitor information under their own privacy policies.
5. Data Access and Requests
